Contractor's Saws

The contractor’s saw was invented with the idea that a contractor could take this saw out to the job site and not sacrifice performance and accuracy when not in the shop. Now contractor’s saws have commercial fences, and rip capacities that are equal to cabinet shop saws. The big advantage to the shop is that the power requirements are usually less then that of a cabinet shop. This makes the contractor’s saw less expensive to own and operate since it is unlikely to be running seven days a week like a cabinet saw often does. Though many cabinet shops have contractor’s saws in their shops as well, and do get a full days work out of them.
