Having right size table insert in your table saw is a very wise move on your part. A zero clearance table saw insert should be your primary table saw insert for safe table saw operations. Preventing small pieces of stock from flying around the shop is so important, that I can’t emphasize it enough. If I had my way every saw would come with a zero clearance table saw insert and the others would be optional.
