MSXE636-2 Start Fein MultiMaster Start

The MultiMaster is a single speed oscillating tool that uses a broad assortment of accessory blades to handle hundreds of previously manual tasks. Instead of scraping paint with a putty knife, you use a powered scraping blade. Instead of sanding tight spaces with your finger, you use one of the MultiMaster's varied sanding pads.

No other sander lets you get right into a corner or right along an edge like the MultiMaster. That's because the patented sanding pad oscillates rapidly in a tight 2 degree arc. There is no kickback, and there is no cross grain sanding. You can choose from a wide variety of sanding pads to fit all kinds of jobs, and there is a broad selection of sandpaper to work on a number of different materials.

The secret is the oscillation. The MultiMaster doesn't rotate or orbit like other power tools. It oscillates. Oscillation permits you to do extremely fine and delicate work or be more aggressive depending on the accessory bade and material. It's a multipurpose tool that performs each of its task as if it were dedicated to that function alone.
