The splitter is removable for non-thru cutting operations. The split basket shield is made from clear Lexon. Fits Delta 10" Contractor's Saw, Unisaw, Delta's 10" tilting arbor saw with 30" or 52" Unifence saw guide or just abut any other table saw.
