CMT Universal Shaper Cutter Head 692.100.31 (1-1/4" Bore)
CMT’s high quality shaper cutterheads are the versatile, easy-to-use and cost effective solution to shaper work. Precision milled from the finest high-strength aluminum, these cutter-heads feature dual pins to locate knives quickly and hold them securely. This cutter head includes a pair of straight knives. Use these tools on all types of shaper and spindle machines. There are many optional profile knives to choose from.

TECHNICAL DETAILS:
  • hard aluminum or steel alloy cutter heads without limiters, highly resistant to tensile and yield stress;
  • pair of universal straight knives;
  • tools for mechanical feed (MEC);
  • pins for the automatic positioning of the knives;
  • possibility to use knives with a height of 40mm (1-37/64") or 50mm (1-31/32") (order no. 690);
Supplied in a solid plastic box to contain up to 12 couples of knives.

For safety reasons CMT recommends using knives with a height of 40mm (1-37/64") on 692.078.19 and 692.078.30 cutter heads.
