Designed to straddle most cutterheads, it makes quick work of setting knives, Unique, Non-Rocking design positions dial indicator tip directly over cutting edge and allows you read at a glance the height of each knife to within 0.001". Just straddle the gauge on top of cutterhead. The tip of indicator will touch the tip of the knife, The indicator will show the height of the cutter. Move the gauge along the knife to be sure the knife is aligned at the same height. Repeat the procedure for each knife.
